EN - Edward Muybridge once again explored human movement through sport. In 1887, he photographed two men in nothing but their underwear during a boxing match.

These photographs were presented in motion by a machine he had invented, the zoopraxiscope. It is a film that lasts only a few seconds, but it shows the movement, strength and beauty of the human body.

PT - Edward Muybridge volta a testar o movimento humano através do desporto. Em 1887 fotografa dois homens apenas em roupa interior em situação de combate de boxe.

Através destas fotografias a sequência de imagens era apresentada em movimento através de uma máquina com o nome zoopraxiscópio, inventada pelo próprio. Este é um filme de apenas alguns segundos, mas que apresenta o movimento, força e beleza do corpo humano.
