Sport in World Cinema (SWC)

The SWC project was founded by the Cinema&Sport Working Group.
The project materializes the dream of providing a database of films about sports and disseminating cinematographic heritage on sports themes at a national and international level, in dematerialized management and access to content/information about cinematographic works originally produced on film, video native or digital support, using the objective of creating a freely accessible and territorially decentralized digital platform.
To this end, we created this Web Platform for archiving and disseminating films.
⟶ What we do:
- Sport Film Research;
- Document Analysis;
- Sport Film Database (website);
- Sport Film Festivals Database (website);
- Disseminate sports-related films via social networks (Instagram, Facebook and Linkedin);
- Supporting the organisation of debates on sports-related films (Seminars, Congresses, Forums);
